PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are taking participants through a programme to teach basic skills across either music, media, or dance. The project will be ran over 12 weeks and will require weekly committment. You don’t need any existing skills in these areas, just an interest to learn!
Music (3 participants)
- At the end of the 12 weeks, you will have a recorded song written and performed by you
- You will learn skills across
- Songwriting
- Beat creation
- Sound Engineering & Recording
Media (3 Participants)
- At the end of the project, you will have recorded and edited a video
- You will learn skills across
- Filming
- Lighting
- Editing
Dance (3 Participants)
- At the end of the project you will have a learnt and part choreographed a dance routine
- You will learn skills across
- Choreography
- Basic dance techniques

WHO ARE POWER 2 CREATIVITY CIC?
Through our Creative Hub, Power 2 Creativity CIC will cater for young people in Peterborough who are interested in creative arts. We have identified a lack of access to quality learning and showcase/networking opportunities within dance/music. We will provide services to fill that gap, encouraging young people who are talented to stay in the city and promote their talent, or even begin a career with their talents.
We will assist young creative entrepreneurs to bring their business concepts and ideas to life, buy sharing contacts and providing resources such as the creative hub whereby they can run their own activities. In turn this will create jobs and help the local economy
